Keeping this in mind, it is our practice to identify a specific partner within the firm to be responsible for the client’s work, liaising with the client or its in-house counsel, in all matters that arise during the conduct of the client’s business.
In certain situations, the legal work may be done by a junior lawyer or clerk, or with assistance from a lawyer in a related practice area, bearing in mind the nature and complexity of the issues involved. The client is kept informed at all times when a decision is taken to have another member of the firm involved, and the client’s input is sought and encouraged before any such decision is made.
