Attila is a member of the firm's Insurance Defence Litigation, Labour & Employment and Immigration groups.

Attila obtained his J.D. at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law and his B.A. at McGill University, where he majored in philosophy and graduated with honours and great distinction. While attending law school Attila worked as a legal assistant in the areas of immigration and refugee law. Attila assisted in the preparation applications for leave and for judicial review of rejected refugee claims to the Federal Court of Canada. He also served as assistant editor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review and Op-Ed page Editor at the Faculty of Law student newspaper, Ultra Vires. Additionally, Attila worked as a Research Assistant for a number of law professors at the University of Toronto.

In addition to English, Attila is fluent in Turkish and Bulgarian, and hopes to improve his German and French in the near future.

“Refugee Interdiction and the Outer Limits of Sovereignty” Journal of Law and Equality (2004) Vol. 3(1) and Symposium Issue on Citizenship, Immigration and Borders, which was awarded the Journal of Law and Equality publication grant for best submission in volume.

"How Strict is Vicarious Liability? Reassessing the Enterprise Risk Theory" University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review (2006) Vol. 64(2), which was awarded a J.S.D. Tory Fellowship for legal writing.
