Chad Kopach is an associate with Blaney McMurtry with a practice that involves both commercial and general civil litigation. In addition, Chad is a member of Blaney’s Architectural, Construction, Engineering Services (ACES) Group.
As a member of ACES, Chad deals with a variety of clients and issues affecting the construction industry, including construction contract disputes and litigation.
Chad attended the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, obtaining his B.B.A. and LL.B. in six years. While at Law School, Chad held the
positions of Chair of the Charity Auction Committee, Communications Officer for the Law Students’ Society, and was a member of the Information Technology Committee.
Starting in the summer after second year of Law School, Chad worked with the Public Legal Education and Information Service of New Brunswick, a charitable organization designed to promote access to the legal system. His achievements in this position included the development and implementation of a public information presentation entitled “Journey Through the Financial Jungle”, a tax and estate planning seminar. In addition, Chad developed a website in connection with the New Brunswick Department of Justice, Securities Branch. The website functions as an investment primer.
Chad articled with Blaney McMurtry LLP in 2002-2003, and returned to the firm after his call to the Bar in 2003.
