Farah Zafar graduated with a B.A. in Government and Politics from St. John’s University in 1997. Farah attended law school at St. John’s University School of Law in New York, and graduated in 2000.
While in law school she served as an Executive Editor of the St. John’s Journal of Legal Commentary, and was published in the same journal.
Upon graduating, Farah accepted an associate position with a large New York City law firm, wherein her practice consisted of insurance defence and insurance coverage work. She was admitted to the New York Bar in 2001. Farah was subsequently called to the Ontario Bar and joined Blaney, McMurtry LLP as an associate in the Insurance Coverage Group.
Farah is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
