Lea Nebel is a member of Blaney's commercial litigation group and Architectural, Construction, Engineering Services (ACES) Group.
Lea's practice is focused on the areas of creditor-debtor and construction law litigation. Some of Lea's clients include financial institutions, leasing companies and security companies whom she assists with enforcing security and collecting debts.
Lea has successfully handled dispute resolution on behalf of contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers in the construction, security and advertising industries, in a variety of cases including breach of contract.Lea has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in courtrooms throughout the province, as well as the Ontario Court of Appeal. Most recently, she was successful in having an appeal dismissed for abuse of process in a case involving bankruptcy issues.
