Profile
Douglas A. Hendler is a partner at Blaney McMurtry LLP, practicing primarily in the areas of corporate/commercial law, real estate and institutional financing. Doug speaks French fluently and provides legal services to a number of Quebec-based clients. Doug also does estate planning and succession planning work for individual clients.
Within his corporate/commercial practice, Doug provides ongoing business advice to clients, acts on mergers and acquisitions, the purchase and sale of businesses, the structuring of business transactions and on the drafting and negotiating of agreements for businesses.
In his real estate practice, Doug acts on the purchase and sale of commercial and residential properties, does condominium work involving both the registration and ongoing operations of condominium corporations and acts for both borrowers and lenders in institutional and other financing transactions. This includes the financing of businesses and real estate, the structuring of loan transactions and the drafting and negotiation of loan agreements and security agreements.
