A partner in Blaney McMurtry LLP, Jill McCutcheon has more than 20 years experience in providing counsel to the financial services industry on all aspects of the law. She acts as counsel to insurers, reinsurers, banks, intermediaries, marketers, retailers, employers, sponsors and associations. Her clients view her as an "outside the box" thinker, effective negotiator and a facilitator of their businesses. Jill has experience in supporting all property and casualty, life and health insurance business as well as the non-traditional. Jill is a noted lecturer and writer in her field of law and makes presentations to industry associations and conferences regarding legal and regulatory issues, privacy, negotiation strategy and alternate dispute resolution. Her recent presentations include "Privacy, Data Security & Oversight", presented at The Institute of Chartered Corporate Secretaries Toronto Symposium on Trends in Governance, and "Emerging Issues in Privacy Law and Privacy Practice" presented at the Regulatory Compliance for Financial Institutions Conference.
