Tim Farrell practices all manner of general litigation with emphasis on commercial litigation and insurance coverage disputes. He has a particular expertise in travel insurance law.

"Most of my recent practice is in errors and omissions insurance defence," Tim says. "My clients include dentists, stock brokers, insurance brokers and lawyers in cases involving professional liability."

He also has a general corporate clientele including insurers and lenders and represents travel insurers in cases involving travel insurance coverage.

Tim has appeared before all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Divisional Court, the Federal Court, Trial Division and the Superior Court of Justice.

He has considerable experience in alternate dispute forums and represents clients in arbitration and mediation hearings.

Tim is a partner in Blaney McMurtry LLP's litigation group and is chair of the firm's professional development committee.
