Blaney McMurtry is pleased to announce that David Mackenzie, Belinda Rossi and Sundeep Sandhu have been admitted to the Partnership effective February 1, 2013.
David Mackenzie is a partner in the firm’s Insurance Coverage Counsel and Insurance Litigation Groups. David practices commercial and insurance litigation, with an emphasis on insurance coverage and complex multi-party disputes. He has acted as counsel in claims concerning products liability, environmental liability, personal injury, construction defect, commercial disputes, as well as subrogation counsel in multi-party fire loss claims. David was Called to the Bar of Ontario in 2010, the Bar of British Columbia in 2000 and the Bar of Washington State in 1998.
Belinda Rossi is a partner in the firm’s Family Law Group. Belinda has extensive courtroom experience and has appeared before all levels of the Ontario courts on family law matters, including the Ontario Court of Appeal. She is certified in the practice of Collaborative Family Law and has received training in mediation and advocacy by first rate professionals in the field. Whether in litigation or outside that process, Belinda's practice includes assisting clients with complex income, property, tax, corporate and business issues that arise within the context of family law support claims (spousal and child), property division and preservation, trust claims and disclosure requests. Belinda was Called to the Bar of Ontario in 2007.
Sundeep Sandhu is a partner in the firm’s Corporate/Commercial Group. Sundeep's current practice involves a wide-range of matters, including new business, corporate governance, divestitures and restructurings of businesses, secured lending, mergers and acquisitions, commercial leasing, privacy and consumer protection. Sundeep is also experienced in negotiating and drafting a wide variety of corporate and commercial agreements. Sundeep was Called to the Bar of Ontario in 2007.
