The Algonquins of Ontario have agreed to a financial settlement of a land claim dispute over the former CFB Rockcliffe air base outside Ottawa, clearing the way for the redevelopment of the property.  Blaney McMurtry partner Robert Potts, who is the Principal negotiator and senior legal counsel for the Algonquins, says the agreement reached between Canada Lands Company, the Department of National Defence and the Algonquins with respect to the ultimate development of the property would be a "win-win" for all parties, according to an article in the March 18, 2011 issue of The Ottawa Sun.
