On September 20th, Rafal Szymanski and Maria Kotsopoulos will be speaking to the Ontario Law Enforcement Risk Management Committee at their Fall Conference in Aurora, Ontario. Day Two of the conference includes a presentation from Rafal and Maria entitled ‘Human Rights Claims within a Law Enforcement Framework.’ Rafal will review recent civil decisions relating to claims of racial profiling. Maria will discuss the scope of a police force’s duty to reasonably accommodate its officers.
