John Polyzogopoulos is chairing the OBA's 'Top Appeals of 2015-16 From the Ontario Court of Appeal' CPD program on December 1, 2016. Join to hear from counsel who acted on the “top” civil litigation appeals decided by our top court.
The program will examine topics and issues that are relevant to both in-house and external counsel. You will gain effective strategies from our stellar faculty for dealing with evolving areas of both procedural and substantive law, including contract law and the appropriate standard of review from questions of contractual interpretation, environmental law, piercing the corporate veil and punitive damages, and the awarding and calculation of aggregate damages in class proceedings.
