Marisa graduated Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law and is currently completing her M.A. from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University.  Prior to attending law school Marisa obtained her B.A. from Queen’s University where she graduated with Honours degrees in Philosophy and International Development.  While at law school Marisa worked at the Canadian Embassy in Paris, France, a small litigation firm and the Charities Directorate of the Canada Revenue Agency.  Marisa also interned at the Department of Justice, Parliamentary Research Branch and the Supreme Court of Canada.
