Sharon obtained her L.L.B. from the University of Windsor. She participated in an international exchange program at the University of Amsterdam where she became familiar with International and European Union law. Sharon received her B.A at Huron College, where she majored in philosophy. Throughout law school, Sharon was involved with student council, community legal aid and Canadian Lawyers Abroad. She also assisted a professor in updating a paper for the United Nations about the sexual exploitation of children in the private sector. Sharon currently sits on the Policy Committee of Justice of Children and Youth, a Toronto-based youth justice organization.
