 Overview

Igor is sought out by individuals and businesses that are involved in tax litigation or face compliance issues with the Canada Revenue Agency. Igor represents clients who are being audited by the CRA or are appealing a Notice of Reassessment to CRA Appeals or the Tax Court of Canada. He appears before the Tax Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Appeal. Igor also advocates for his clients before the Federal Court on judicial review proceedings that oversee the CRA’s administrative decision making. He is an experienced tax advisor, who understands how to leverage the unique procedures of Canada’s tax dispute system to benefit his clients.

Igor is trusted by his clients to bring forward non-compliance issues to the CRA’s Voluntary Disclosure Program, and to generally provide compliance advice to his clients. 

He is focused on ensuring that his clients are well informed throughout the legal process and that their legal rights and interests are protected. He is known for his candid approach to resolving tax disputes with the CRA, which allows him to be attentive to his clients’ needs while providing pragmatic and efficient results.

Igor has completed Part I of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants of Canada’s’ In-Depth Tax Course. He is conversationally fluent in Russian.
