Lydia Yu
 Overview

Lydia is a passionate litigator with a strong focus on ensuring that her clients’ best interests are always met with strategic efficiency. She is a confident and hard-working advocate who strives to continually exceed expectations. Lydia's developing litigation practice is focused on acting for her clients in various matters including: product liability, occupier’s liability, municipality liability, property damage claims and construction claims. Lydia provides legal advice to both private and public sector clients.

Lydia is actively involved in her role as the Toronto contact associate in the firm’s affiliation with the Risk Management Counsel of Canada (RMC). She regularly speaks at seminars and presentations alongside other representatives from across the country on new and evolving legal issues.

During her time at Western Law, Lydia competed in numerous mooting competitions and served on Western Law’s Community Legal Services as a Clinic Supervisor.
