Mahdi Hussein

Mahdi practices civil and commercial litigation and class action defence. He routinely represents clients in the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal.

In his day-to-day practice, Mahdi is retained by insurers, corporations, directors and officers to advance their claims in a zealous, practical, and principled manner. He often represents insurers and professionals in complex negligence cases, including, engineering defects, financial advising, and oppression claims.

In his commercial practice, Mahdi represents corporations in class action and cross-border disputes, as well as litigation arising out of contractual obligations, employment matters, and commercial lease disputes.

While completing his law degree, Mahdi participated in the Intellectual Property Clinic at Osgoode Hall Law School, and completed a term as a Policy Analyst where he assisted policy makers with legislative amendments to the Trade-marks Act.
