Maria is developing a broad practice in litigation and immigration. With a results-oriented attitude, she has advocated before the Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, and Criminal Injuries Compensation Board. She has also assisted corporate and individual clients submit Canada immigration applications and respond to immigration-related audits.
During law school, Maria served as assistant editor of the Law Review, was selected to compete in the Bowman National Tax Moot, and volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada. She also received an academic excellence award for highest standing in Public Law. Prior to law school, Maria served as the Editor-in-Chief of the University of Toronto Pre-Law Society’s journal.
