 Overview

Martin’s clients have described him as a pragmatic, common sense lawyer who does not get bogged down in unnecessary legal subtleties; who is accessible to his clients on a moment’s notice; and who makes their priority, his priority.  This approach has enabled him to create a positive working relationship with opposite counsel, and effect timely and cost efficient completion of his clients’ transactions.  His trust and loyalty to his clients has been reciprocated, as many of them have remained clients for in excess of 20 years.

Martin's practice involves all aspects of commercial and industrial real estate, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing, leasing, joint ventures, construction and land development. He has acted for both domestic and international clients.  His corporate and commercial experience extends to corporate acquisitions and divestitures, corporate financing, negotiating co-ownership and limited partnership agreements with investor funds for the development and financing of large real estate projects.  He has provided legal advice to domestic clients involved in the manufacture and sale of specialized equipment and machinery to foreign entities for use in the mineral extraction business as well as in the aerospace and entertainment businesses. Martin has also provided advice to clients in the automotive, nursing home, publishing and golf course businesses.
