 Overview

Stephen is an Associate in the Insurance Group, practicing in both the areas of insurance litigation and insurance coverage.

In his coverage practice, Stephen provides insurers with advice on a diverse range of policies, including commercial general liability, professional errors and omissions, property, directors’ and officers’ liability, and cyber-risk policies.

In his insurance litigation practice, Stephen has considerable experience representing large national and international insurers, and defending a multitude of tort claims including personal injury, conservation authority, occupiers’ liability, professional negligence, commercial building, condominium, and construction claims.

Stephen has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Licence Appeal Tribunal and acted successfully in Small Claims Court trials and Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal hearings.
