For the past three years, Blaneys' Partner, Rafal Szymanski, has participated in the Great Cycle Challenge in support of the SickKids Foundation.
Each year, riders set a personal ride target to pedal in the month of August. They track their kilometers throughout the month and share their progress online through their personal challenge page.
This year, Rafal raised $5,707 as he rode 1,581 kms in August, including a 450 km ride from Toronto to Ottawa in a single day.
Over the past three years, he has ridden over 5,095 kms and raised over $12,036 in support of the fight against children’s cancer.
