Blaney McMurtry announced a $1 million philanthropic commitment to SickKids Foundation, supporting the vital work of The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and the patients, families and communities it serves.
SickKids is a world-leading pediatric health-care centre dedicated to advancing children’s health through exceptional clinical care, groundbreaking research and innovation. Its commitment to transforming care and improving health outcomes for children strongly aligns with Blaney McMurtry’s longstanding commitment to strengthening the communities in which we live and work.
Blaney McMurtry’s commitment will support two core priorities identified by SickKids Foundation: enhancing the patient experience through critical equipment at the hospital and advancing SickKids’ highest-priority needs to help shape the future of pediatric care. The firm’s support will also contribute to SickKids’ Heal the Future Campaign, The Next 150, an ambitious initiative focused on accelerating breakthroughs in child health and ensuring world-class care for generations to come.
As part of this long-term partnership, Blaney McMurtry will remain closely engaged with SickKids Foundation and hospital teams to understand the impact of its support and how it is helping improve patient experiences and address emerging needs. The partnership will also include the naming of a collaboration room within the Patient Support Centre in recognition of the firm’s commitment.
The space reflects a shared belief in the importance of connection, collaboration and compassionate care, while keeping the focus firmly on SickKids’ mission: improving the health and well-being of children and their families, today and for generations to come.
