Giovanna Asaro is a partner whose litigation practice focuses on defending claims of sexual abuse, professional negligence, malicious prosecution, wrongful arrest, and negligent investigation for a variety of public authorities and private corporations.

Giovanna’s litigation expertise includes over 20 years’ experience counselling and representing child welfare, recreational, policing, government, religious, and educational organizations in sexual assault and abuse claims. Giovanna has worked on a number of class actions and is currently lead counsel defending a class action related to the alleged sexual abuse of First Nations class members.
