 Overview

Bob brings a rare combination of talents to his clients’ real estate and estate planning objectives by drawing on his wealth of legal experience, results-oriented approach, and formidable negotiation skills.  Dedicated to providing the highest level of service to his clients - something seldom seen these days - Bob’s clients trust him to provide timely, pragmatic solutions to their legal and business concerns.

Major commercial real estate investors acquiring and selling apartment buildings, shopping plazas, development sites, and other significant real property seek Bob’s guidance and counsel. Major financial institutions and private lenders involved in funding large real estate transactions also look to Bob for his experience and track record in the industry.

Bob’s estate planning practice includes the preparation of wills, powers of attorney and other complementary documents.  He also advises clients on charitable giving, estate administration, family business succession planning and family trusts.

Being of service to his clients and his community is at the heart of Bob’s core values. Widely recognized for his charitable service to the Toronto community, Bob has acted as Chair of the City of Toronto United Jewish Appeal Federation of Greater Toronto, Lawyers' Division; Vice-Chair of its Major Gifts Division; Chair of the Pledge Redemption Committee; and has sat on the Baycrest Hospital Foundation Audit and Finance Committee. He has been actively involved with United Way, Israel Bonds, and the Professional Development Committee of the Jewish Foundation. Bob sits on the board of the Jewish National Fund, and is a past president of his Synagogue.  Bob and his wife Marilyn were the 2002 honorees of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism for their contributions to Conservative Judaism.

Outside of his legal and charitable activities, Bob is a gifted stone sculptor and has exhibited in several shows; he is also an avid gardener and golfer. Bob is married to Marilyn, has two married daughters and five grandchildren.
