Daniela is a passionate insurance defence litigator. Her practice focus is personal injury, occupiers’ liability, professional negligence, product liability, subrogation, and accident benefits.
Clients benefit from Daniela’s prior experience at a national insurance company, where she frequently appeared on a variety of matters at the Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, and Licence Appeal Tribunal.
Daniela received a successful decision on a CAT reconsideration matter at the Licence Appeal Tribunal. During her articles, she second chaired a successful Small Claims Trial on a property damage claim. In law school, Daniela received the Koskie Minsky LLP Prize in Insurance Law and the CLASP Social Justice Award.
