Michael Gilburt is a member of the firm’s Corporate & Commercial Group and Commercial Leasing Group. Michael’s practice encompasses all aspects of commercial leasing. He has extensive experience with drafting and negotiating commercial leases and all ancillary documentation on behalf of both tenants and landlords in respect of retail, industrial and office properties, as well as providing advice on a broad range of leasing-related issues relating to redevelopments, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, defaults and termination. In his corporate practice, Michael reviews and drafts a wide variety of commercial agreements such as consultant, licensing and service agreements for clients ranging in size from start-ups to global enterprises.
Aaron Grossman is a member of the Commercial Litigation Group. Aaron acts as both an advocate in the courtroom and well as guide to negotiated resolutions for his clients. Senior counsel at the firm seek out Aaron for assistance with complex claims in the areas of commercial litigation, construction law, real estate litigation, bankruptcy and insolvency, construction law and professional negligence.
Alexandra Teodorescu is a member of the Commercial Litigation Group. Alexandra’s practice focuses on commercial litigation and insolvency, including restructurings under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act and bankruptcies and proposals under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. Alex regularly advises and represents clients with respect to contractual disputes, creditors’ rights, construction matters, and enforcement proceedings at both the trial and appellate level.
Aly Virani is a member of the firm’s Wills & Estates Group and Family Law Group. His practice focuses on providing solutions to complex personal matters at the intersection of these two distinct areas. Skilled at crafting Wills, Trusts, Marriage Contracts, and Powers of Attorney, Aly also provides guardianship advice and acts on behalf of private clients, charities, Trust companies and the Public Guardian and Trustee. As a litigator, Aly has a track record of success, including a successful appeal at the Court of Appeal in 2018. Aly has developed a unique and varied knowledge of legal issues that lie at the intersection of Estates, Trusts and Family Law, and is an emerging leader in this specialized space.
