Bob Potts is quoted in the article, "Decision Pending on Former Rockcliffe Airbase", in the October 22, 2010 issue of The Ottawa Citizen newspaper. According to the article, negotiations over a land claim between the Algonquins of Eastern Ontario and the federal government, which delayed the sale of the deserted air base for more than four years, have finally ended in an agreement which gives the First Nations people a say in the redevelopment of that land. This agreement is only one part of a larger settlement package for the Algonquin land claim that hasn't yet been finalized, but which Mr. Potts, who led the negotiating team for the Algonquins, is hopeful will be completed soon.
