Blaneys’ Partner, Anthony Gatensby, spoke at the 2021 Insurance Coverage Symposium hosted by Canadian Defence Lawyers. His session entitled "Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Business Interruption" highlighted the pressure on insurers to settle and pay claims, and the pressure on adjusters to quantify them as well as the position and approach of the commercial policyholder and government and regulatory interventions to date.
