Blaney McMurtry LLP has two openings for associates with 3-6 years and 5-9 years of relevant experience to join our busy Insurance Practice Group.
The successful candidates will work on a range of insurance defence matters, particularly E&O, construction-related torts, personal injury, and other general liability files. Candidates must have strong analytical, drafting and file management skills, be team players willing to jump into the role that is needed in the circumstances, and have the demonstrated ability to assume carriage of multiple files. Candidates must also be able to confidently resolve issues independently both within and outside of court proceedings.
A superior work ethic, self-motivation, and attention to detail are essential, as are exceptional skills in research, practice management, negotiation, advocacy, and client service.
