Blaneys’ Partner, Sunita Doobay, will be a speaker at the, "Institute Across Borders: Legal Issues and Best Practices for Ontario Lawyers from Around the World" conference, hosted by the Canadian Bar Association on November 9, 2021. Sunita will be a panelist on a session entitled, "Tax Implications for Cross-Border Business". The panelists will discuss and provide insight on the Canadian and U.S. taxation of e-commerce businesses and the impact of the Canada-U.S. Tax Treaty, and guidance relating to Canada’s new GST/HST digital tax rules.
